County Legislator William Reinhardt informed us that on March 8, 2021 the Albany County Legislature approved funding in the amount of $131,440 to complete the engineering design for the Quiet Zone. The firm that will conduct the design is Saratoga Railroad Engineering, Saratoga Springs, NY. Once the design is complete we can proceed to construction.
Albany County Department of Public Works estimates a December 2022 completion date for the Quiet Zone.
