Contact with CSX

At the January Village Board workshop last week, Rich Straut, the Village’s liaison with CSX, reported that CSX told him that it was willing to provide some kind of assessment for a four-quad gate system, including cost estimates, for the $27,000 the Village has on hand for that purpose. Mr. Straut, who recently returned from vacation, said that he would be contacting CSX, to get more specifics on the deliverables.
